The laws and requirements for agency workers keep changing and so does Timesheet Portal. Committed to aiding employers and agencies across different industries and areas of services, we are staying on top of changes in legal requirements. In light of that and to help you manage your workers who fall under AWR (Agency Worker Regulations), we have added some additional notifications which can be sent to different people.
While it’s not a big core update, we believe it will contribute to smoother operations that are compliant with the new requirements. After all, less manual admin work leads to more truly important tasks being completed more quicker.
How Does It Work?
For each notification, you can configure a warning as they are nearing their 12 weeks of work, and another when they have worked for 12 weeks and are entitled to the same rights as permanent staff. To configure these notifications, go to Settings->PAYE Assist->AWR. You will see there is a new drop-down to allow you to set up an administrator who is due to receive the administrator notifications. Additionally, there will be a set of notifications for the client approvers and another for the consultant who owns the placement.
Each set of notifications can be enabled using the tick boxes, and the text of the emails sent can be configured using the Edit Email Template links. You can also set the number of weeks at which you want to send the warning emails.
