As always, we've been working hard to make things easier for you. Some businesses deal with bigger volumes of receipts, and submitting them even on the go can still be tedious. It took us some brain-racking to come up with a solution addressing this very issue, but in the end, we found one - as well as a way to enhance it further.
We're pleased to announce our latest expense form changes, giving you greater flexibility in how you upload and assign receipts to new entries. There are 2 major changes introduced in our latest release.
Quick Individual Receipt Upload & Bulk Receipt Upload
The upload receipt button on an individual expense entry is now gone. Instead, you can upload an individual receipt simply by dragging your receipt file over the entry. If you want to create a new entry, you can just drag it to the bottom of the expense form, after the last entry.
If you have a lot of receipts to upload, why not upload them in one go? To do so, click on the new ‘Upload Receipts’ button at the bottom of your expense form. You can now drag multiple receipt image files or PDF files. Once these are uploaded, you can then choose to assign them to an existing entry, create a new receipt entry, or save them for later. We are also making some other changes so that receipt values can be extracted automatically and pre-populated for you.
This is the first of a number of changes we are going to be introducing to Timesheet Portal expense claims. You will also notice some massive performance improvements when creating large expense claims containing up to 50 expenses. We hope you enjoy our new changes and be sure to look out for more.
