Re-using the same password can really jeopardise one’s online safety. Although often ushered to come up with a new one, no person can remember all their passwords if they have a different one every time. This is yet another problem integrations solve.

From now on, we will aid you in making your end-users lives easier. Starting today, they no longer have to remember another password for Timesheet Portal, but can instead log in directly with their Google account. When the feature is enabled, all they need to do is simply click on the Google Sign-in button at the top of their login page.

No Need for a New Account

Instead of being asked to create a separate account, your users can now use their Google login details to streamline the process. Upon logging in to the system via the Google Sign-in button, they will be requested by Google to allow access to their account. We will then grab their email address, and Google will let us know that they have authenticated themselves.  We can log them in.

To enable this handy feature, log into your account and go to Settings -> Account. Then, tick "Enable sign in via Google" in the general settings section. Save the changes to start using the function right away. To add some consistency with the rest of your website, you can also brand the Google icon with your own colour scheme. To access this feature, head to the Branding page in Settings -> Branding.
