We're very pleased to announce that we've made a complete rehaul to the leave booking user interface. The new update sports a more modern, up-to-date look, in line with our overall aim to modernise and simplify the use of Timesheet Portal.
The core functionality of the leave booking system, however, remains the same. Users can still use the manual date filters to input the required dates for their leave requests. Or they can do so using the interactive calendar and clicking on the relevant days. Visit our video library to see the new leave booking module in action.
Additional Updates to be Aware of
We have also released some smaller updates, some of which are quality-of-life changes, so take notes:
1. You can now bulk cancel timesheets that haven't been approved or exported;
2. When approval by email is enabled on a placement, users will be able to see a full audit log of the approver's name, approval date and IP address, making it easy to spot the origins of mistakes;
3. Added a checkbox to exclude invoices with no purchase orders when creating an invoice to improve filtering;
4. Added a dropdown menu to choose an invoice template when creating an invoice for further convenience;
5. Added the ability to create invoice methods (settings > lists > client invoicing method), which can then be selected when creating an invoice;
6. Users can now add a 'comment' as an additional invoice line item, allowing users to enter more information.
