We have some exciting development news - we are gradually updating areas of the portal with a more intuitive and easier-to-use interface. The current roll-out priorities are the GB3 and GB1 clusters which will then be followed by the GB2 cluster. You can view your account cluster under Settings > Account.
These additions should improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of your payroll management operations.
The Newest Interface Changes
We made the Employee Recordinterface more visually appealing, dynamic and user-friendly. All functions remain the same, with the addition of some new modern features. Such include the Approvers filter. When added to the Employees page, it shows icons with the approvers’ initials. If you click the said icon, it will show the full name(s) and approval mode.
You can edit employee records with just a click. Check out our newly revamped interface, where all employee sections are listed in a user-friendly format on the left-hand side. Managing your workforce has never been easier!
You will still have the option ‘To View Old Employee Page’ for some time. Keep in mind that we'll be gradually phasing it out as we encourage all our users to embrace the enhanced features of the new interface.
Next, let’s talk about our changes in Pay Run Preparation. We added an improved menu for smooth navigation across various functions. It includes adding new pay items, adjusting deductions, and reviewing final calculations before approving the pay run.
For editing the Pay Run Prep form, go in to the Drafts tab and select the line item you wish to change. However, keep in mind, once you approve the form, it can't be edited. In case there is a mistake, you will have to delete the whole pay run and create it again.
You can delete it by going to the Approved tab, selecting the desired pay run, and clicking on the Delete button.
You can add a new line item by selecting 'Add item' at the top of the line items, inputting necessary data, and then click approve once you have checked the pay run.
