We are pleased to announce further upgrades: Timesheet Portal expense forms are undergoing changes. In this update, we are specifically addressing mileage expenses, as we’ve noticed they continue to raise questions for our users. Our solution combines mileage expense claims with the standard form, making it easier to access and process for both the submitter and the approver. It will still appear separately in the reports.

Many businesses are unaware that they are losing a significant amount of money on employee expenses each year. Specifically, the process is often too complicated and inefficient, leading workers to avoid it altogether. In more extreme cases, it can also be exploited, forcing you to issue larger compensations than the amount spent. The solution lies in fixing and streamlining the process - and this is what we aim to assist you with at Timesheet Portal.

Easier Access to Mileage Expense Claims

Starting January 9th, you will no longer need to choose between mileage and standard expense forms. Instead, all expense forms will be treated equally, and mileage calculations will occur when selecting a specific expense category. During our upgrade process, all accounts using calculated mileage expense forms will receive a new expense category labelled 'Calculated Mileage'. Choosing this category will display the familiar " from " and " to " boxes, as well as the start and end miles and vehicle registration fields.

Time is money, and every click counts. Although this may not seem like a significant change, we believe that the few seconds we help you save can contribute to your future successes.
