We’re excited to introduce a powerful new enhancement to onboarding—contractor custom fields are now supported within onboarding profiles.

Why this matters

Onboarding is a crucial step in capturing the right information from your contractors and employees. Previously, onboarding profiles allowed you to configure standard fields, but every organisation has unique data requirements.

With this update, onboarding becomes far more flexible and fully tailored to your business needs.

What’s new?

You can now add custom fields directly into onboarding profiles, giving you the ability to:

• Capture additional or organisation-specific information
• Tailor onboarding profiles to different worker types or processes
• Ensure all required data is collected upfront, reducing the need for follow-ups

This builds on existing functionality where onboarding profiles already allow you to define what information is visible or required during onboarding.

Where to find this feature

You can access this feature by navigating to:

Settings → Contractor → Onboarding → Other Details tab

Here, you will see your existing custom fields and can select them to include within your onboarding profiles.
